I lost 75 lbs. on Weight Watchers 2 years ago. I’ve put back on a few over the holidays and my pants are getting a little snug so I’m signing back up. Before, using the apps (free with membership) on my smartphone really helped me to calculate my points and keep track of them. I discovered that there are a lot of healthy foods that I actually enjoy. Even frozen diet entrees have really improved in taste over the last decade. Deciding to get more active, I found a Zumba fitness class less than a minute from my home. I signed up for classes three days a week. My class is made up of Women of all shapes and sizes and different fitness levels but we have so much fun together it doesn’t even feel like exercise but we really get our sweat on! If you are employed, check with your employer to find out if they offer a discount or reimbursement on fitness classes, gym memberships or wellness programs. The company I work for offers 100% reimbursement for Weight Watchers after 3 months of active participation. Good luck to you. I hope you stick with it. It is a lot of work in the beggining but the longer you do it and the more you lose, making healthy food choices and other lifestyle changes will become habit and will seem a lot less like work. Email me if you have questions or need support. nitahunt77@yahoo.com

        Nita,
wow! 75 lbs that is amazing! You should be so proud! I have been using the mobile apps and I find that really helps. I’m just eating what I can calculate so its pretty boring right now, but I’m liking it. Day 3 and I’ve done really good, I haven’t gone over my points once! That is definitely my major weakness ….working out! Maybe I will look into zumba sounds fun and easy enough 🙂 thank you so much for your words of encouragement and generosity. I plan on sticking with it! I definitely saved your e mail incase I ever need help. Thank you again so much you made my day that much better, and gave me a boost.

I started online a week ago– first wi tomorrow!! I lost 67 lbs in 2006 on ww and reached lifetime (and a size 4– from a size 16) on the old program. This one is MUCH easier, I think!! I am rarely hungry on this new program. As far as tracking….yes, it is work. But be sure to add foods you eat often to your “favorites” and then it is easy to just quickly add. Put some recipes in recipe builder and it saves them for you. I am loving online.

      Summer,
way to go on 67 lbs! I can’t wait to see some results and finally feel happy again in my own skin. I’m rarely hungry either, but I still have that I need a snack mentality! Grrrr I guess I wondered if it really worked because I feel like I’m cheating, because I get to eat stuff I’ve never been allowed on other diets! I have yet to use the recipe builder, sounds useful to me. Thanks for the tip on adding my usuals to my favorites. What a quick way instead of searching everyday. Thank you so much for your help. Good luck on your weigh in. Jess
