Happy Friday: Bad Day Box
Sent from reader, Caroline:
Happy Friday! I have a dear friend who is going through a difficult process. So, with inspiration from Hip2Save, I decided to make her a “Bad Day Box” for the day when she knows she’s doing the right thing, but everything seems to be going wrong. Here’s to a better ‘bad day’!
HAPPY FRIDAY! 😀

Hi Collin,
It was a sweet thing that you support your friend with a token of appreciation and love for her. Thank you for this beautiful sharing with us.
That’s awesome, My best friend is an alcoholic and she’s just over a year clean. Yah! She has hard days though and she just texted my yesterday with one of those days! I’m going to make her one of these and send it. She loves PB I’m going to add a jar of that and Green Tea which she loves too! Thanks for the great idea. I like Tilla Ham’s idea too and call it To a Better Day box!!!
Happy 1 year to her. Let her know that she is strong and every year will get easier. She’s lucky to have friends to lean on
Try the Planters Nut-rition peanut butter. I don’t even care about peanut butter, and I really love it!

What a cool idea! I have a ton of little sample size this & that how cute wld it be to make up a bag that has like a sm candy, lotion, & 1 or 2 other things then write a little note saying “because ur special” or something then just randomly putting them on someone’s car, doorstep, stroller @ a park etc?
Kate That’s An Awesome Idea!!!! May Just Steal =)

To the box giver…That was very nice of you. God will bless you for doing thoughtful things. I pray that the person who got the box have a better day tomorrow. ..Joy is always in the morning. ..p.s keep smiling. .♡♡♡♡♡
That is so sweet, you’re a great friend. My husband and I went through a hard time many years ago and my dear friend came to my house, gave me a hug and handed me a bag and left. In the bag was a card about how amazing I am, tissues, chocolates, fun magazines and a comedy we used to watch when we were kids. It was SO thoughtful and gave me the sunshine I needed through that dark time. I still think about it, 5 years later.
Love these. I like to make these memory boxes as gifts.. I made them for christmas and my sisters bday. Michael’s has the cutest memory boxes, usually on sale 6 for $10. They have great prints. And i just fill em with my bargains! Like free make up ;), trail mix/snacks, candy, gum, lotion, slipper socks., etc… I think it is super cute. I would be thrilled to get a box of goodies :).
Thank you for your idea about using the boxes at Michaels!
What a great idea – thank you for sharing! I’m going to make a few so I always have one to give. There’s never a shortage of people who need encouragement and support. You are a wonderful friend – she’s fortunate to have you in her life 🙂
I LOVE it! My friend’s dad has stage 4 cancer and she has many bad days. I am so sending her this. Thanks for the idea!
what a great friend. this is so thoughtful…love it.
I did something similar a few months ago after a family member had a miscarriage. I made her a box of sunshine and everything inside was yellow. She appreciated it so much. And I am happy to report that she is pregnant again and is due in August.

I came to this entry to say to Caroline: We all need friends like you, Caroline.
I have enjoyed reading the numerous other ideas and thoughts that the rest of you posted on the topic, too 🙂
