There are also cash back deals for Banana Boat on Ibotta, for 4 different types, plus a bonus offer. If you have yet to sign up for Ibotta, I would LOVE if you used my link. https://ibotta.com/r/iykfq , plus if you redeem an offer within 10 days you get a $2 bonus 🙂
Bummer I don’t have the Banana Boat offers on Ibotta but awesome for those who do!!
Anyone know what the breakdown is using Ibotta? Trying to decide if it is worth going tomorrow.
I don’t have the exact breakdown but I bought the 4 available for cash back on ibotta. They were all right at 7.99 at my store so around $32, used 4x$2 coupons = $24 – $10 back in gift cards= $14 – $5 back from ibotta for buying the 4= $9 – $6 bonus from ibotta for buying 3 = $3 for the 4 products. Hope this is understandable, I’m on my phone. (Plus I used Target mobile coupon for free 1.8 oz banana boat cool zone when you buy any 4 oz+ sunscreen- I think you just text offers to 827438)
So how do you get back more than one rebate for the same item on ibotta?
Ibotta has 4 different offers on banana boat. You would have to buy 1 of each of the kind listed and would get $1.25 for each one, for a total of $5. As a bonus they are offering $6 when you redeem any 3 of the banana boat offers. So in total you could get $11 cash back from ibotta.
Anyone know how much the sunscreen is?
It depends on what kind you get. The yellow squeeze container was $6.99 each by me in IL. The spray was $6.49 and the large family size spray was $7.69.
There is also a Target Mobile Q for a FREE travel spray sunscreen. Hope this helps. 🙂
Does Target usually do this deal more than once during the summer? I LOVEthat lotion and would like to do the deal but won’t be able to get to Target this week. Does anyone remember from last year? Thx!!
yes, if not for banana boat, they will do one for coppertone (which is my personal fav for my kiddos…pure and simple). They will do the deal more than once =) Wish it was considered grocery because then we could use the $10/$50 =)
I also did not have those offers on Ibotta
If you do have the banana boat there’s a bonus offer. Wyb 3 you’ll receive an extra $6.
How?
You need to redeem 3 of the 4 sunscreens offered by the 22nd before 2 am and you earn the $6. Hth!
There is also a target mobile coupon for a free 1.8 oz banana boat coolzone sunscreen with purchase of a 4 oz or larger banana boat sunscreen
This is my favorite lotion to wear after getting some sun! However, I don’t like the sunscreen. I’m going to stock up on the lotion!
i hate certain varieties of their sunscreen, it is extreme sticky. my favorite sunscreen is the pink coppertone water babies one, or Hawaiian tropics because I love the smell….since I’m whiter than casper and a red head we generally do 70+ spf in this house
agreed, I usually only use the Banana Boat spray/oil with SPF 15 for me only. All else in my fam need SPF of 30+. I personally cannot stand the CoolZone stuff and feel like it is extremely sticky like you mentioned. I ended up donating it and called the company to give them constructive feedback on that stuff =(
I look forward to this deal each year!! I still have sunscreen from last year but I’m going to stock up on the after sun lotion.
Emily watch on using sunscreen the next year after you bought it it does lose its effectiveness I did this and ended with a very sunburned little girl who went on a school field trip
Like Dawn said, it’s always a good idea to use sunscreen within a year of buying. Make sure to check dates and if they are not listed, I wouldn’t keep it from year to year. BTW, if anyone has flex $ to burn, you can use them on sunscreen. My hubby’s plan runs through June 30th and found this to be a good way to use the remaining $, along with bandaids which our household uses all the time! Just make sure the sunscreen has to be over SPF 15 or it will not go through.
How does the after sun lotion work?? Is it only for sunburned skin or what never bought this before?? Thanks for your help!
How does the after sun lotion work is it only for sunburns please let me know!
Dawn ~ it does help w sunburns bc of the aloe, but it also helps you keep a pretty tan for longer too. Aloe is just a good thing and this is a great product. We always have a bottle in our house.
