Can’t wait to see this! Might have to drive 2 hours to Pittsburgh though. The local theater probably won’t get it. No free ones in or Pittsburgh I’d be all over this!
Really…you’re going to drive 2 hours to see this. .. just wait 4 mos and this site will give you a code for redbox. i’m only 30 minutes away and I won’t take the free tickets. It did get good reviews from rottentamotoes.
My entire family read/ is currently the book. I love to encourage reading as much as I can. If it requires a two hour drive so be it.
Hi, Esther. I haven’t heard of this book but I see the comparison on the cover to The Fault in Our Stars. What age would you say the book would be appropriate for?
High school. It’s really raunchy! My daughter gave away 20 copies for World Book Night Last year. I asked the Liberian if she wanted one for the school library and after quickly scanning it she decided no.
It is still a very hilarious peek into a teen boys mind. I found it fitting for the book, but you have to have a wide open mind!
Thanks for getting back to me. So, not something for my 11 year old girl then! I didn’t think she was ready for The Fault in Our Stars either, and I thought maybe this could be a substitute for that. I might read it though, you kinda have me intrigued! We read Wonder and she loved it. Can anyone recommend any books like that? It’s like someone flipped a switch and she suddenly loves reading and I want to keep her interested! And I totally think you should come to Pittsburgh, see your movie and make a day of it. Tons of stuff to do here! 🙂
Darn already out of tickets in sacramento, ca!
Thanks,got it
Woohoo! I got two free tickets! Thanks
Collin
Do these free promos always happen in the same cities? I keep checking but I’ve never seen one in Wisconsin. Thanks!
This is a wonderful book! As a Librarian, and a Teen one at that, this should be in every library. Libraries are not supposed to censor!
sorry for the rant. The book is great, definately dark humor and not everyone’s cup of tea.
Oh I know. She didn’t want to not put it in, she just knew it was going to cause problems. We don’t even have a librarian at our school any more. She is just an English teacher given the EXTRA responcibility of taking care of the library on top of teaching all her daily classes. I don’t blame her. She did take one home to read and to pass on to her daughter.
Thank you for posting this. A nice night out with hubby just 5 minutes from home.
