Happy Friday: Blessing Others With Couponing
Sent from reader, Nicole:
I just wanted to say thanks again for all the awesome deal posts that you share with your readers on a daily basis! As a stay-at-home mom, I feel like couponing and deal shopping is a way I can help to be a good steward of my family’s finances. However, there is a whole other dimension (that you often highlight) to being a bargain hunter that people often don’t recognize: the ability to give back! I enjoy saving money because it helps my family with our financial freedom, but I also love how it helps me to bless others.
For example, I headed into town today to check out the JCP clearance you had recently posted about. I found a 97 cent display in the children’s department and scooped up some girls size 6 month separates that I will be making a gift basket out of to be given to support my local pregnancy center. In addition to being able to help someone in need, I was also able to get a NB romper for a friend and a t-shirt for my son. I was able to pick up all these items for only 71 cents out of pocket (6 cents per item plus tax) because I had a $10 reward that I earned from signing up for the JCP app that you posted about a few days ago!!! I walked out of there with a huge smile and a happy heart! Thanks again for all you do to share the deals and spread the love! 🙂

Great idea Nicole. I’ll be heading there this weekend and didn’t even think about donation items if they don’t have my daughter’s size. 🙂
🙏🏽
You are an inspiration. I work part time at JCPenney and you have inspired me to use my discount and follow in your footsteps.
so awesome – what a wonderful gift to your community! I love “freebie” offers that I can pay forward … this year we’ve donated about $500 worth of toiletries to troops and our local food pantry, and we spent less than $10 oop to do so. It feels so good to share with others!
Also dollar general has clearance stuff shoes $2 dlrs
Love it! Happy Friday. Thanks for sharing , love paying it forward ,it rocks.

I love this!
Yesterday when I was at the grocery with a tired and cranky one year old and three year old, a lady walked up to me and handed me two coupons for free happy meals, one for each of my children! So kind!
Nice
Loved the reaction I got from a gentlemen paying at the Kohl’s checkout when I handed him a $10 coupon I was not going to use. Priceless!
🙂 aw, amazing! I print off an one extra too. if what the people behind me are getting fits the coupon I pass it along. If not I ask if I can leave it at the checkout so they can pass onto others. 🙂
I usually do the same. Also if I have coupons for items I decided not to get I will leave it on the shelf for the next person. I have done that with the extra coupons I have from Bzz Agent.
Great job! 👍😀
Wonderful Nicole of you to do kind acts for others. I know how you feel when you can help others with the added bonus of awesome deals! Plus, those outfits are adorable! Thanks for sharing. 😃
