It appears there are quite a bit of baby clearance deals available at Target! In addition to the stroller deal I mentioned here, you may be able to find discounts on other name-brand strollers, car seats, walkers and more! I have had my eye on the Britax Marathon Convertible car seats at Target in Maryland for my twins! Today, when I went to check, they were still marked at $220. We just found out (by having the malfunction happen) that there’s a recall on my son’s convertible car seat. The lap latch jammed and we couldn’t get him out for quite some time 😳
I sent my husband to KMart (closest store) to get a high-back booster since he’s at that age and weight anyway.
Came out with a free seat! The one he picked up was on sale for $20, and I didn’t know that I had a SYW reward to get $20 in points back with a $20 purchase! That made a stressful situation a little bit easier 🙂
What is the seat that had the recall? That had to be a sticky situation!
Which one did they recall?
The Clicktight seats were recalled a few months ago. The seat on clearance is not the Clicktight version and the ones on shelves are fixed anyway.
Make sure you register your seat through the Britax USA website. You will be notified & sent any parts involved in a recall. This recall happened months ago and was all over the news. It’s not new & it doesn’t affect the sears currently being sold are fixed. Also, this clearance seat is not the Clicktight version and wasn’t affected anyways.

This happened to us a couple of years ago with our Graco seats. They sent us new straps. They later had a recall and told all consumers to get the new straps.
I have 2 Britax Marathons. They are awesome!
Ditto, and these are relatively small width wise compared to most of the massive seats out there.
We also use the Britax Marathon and love it. Great seat!

Ive tried evenflo, britax, baby trend and graco and my all time favorite is britax! I have the marathon and its comfy, easy to use, durable, and feels so safe! I cant wait to get another i wish my store had any of these left for me to get on clearance!

I have this seat and my 2.5 yr old hates it! Because of the protruded neck/safety feature, my son can only see straight ahead. And trust me (he is my 5th toddler) looking around and asking questions is what toddlers do best in a car. With this seat the kids have to lean forward as much as they can to see what’s next to them. Total waste of money. Great safety feature and ratings but your kid can only look forward while strapped snugly into his car seat. Fun times😳

Collin,just got back from target and I was able to score this amazing deal .. With a toddler and a new baby on the way this is much needed, little guy moving from infant to convertable so newborn can use infant car seat :-). Thanks to all who posted this deal!!!!
I just got home from target and I got this car seat for $129!!!! I was so excited! Thank you so much for posting this! Actually there wasn’t any left in the aisle just the model. I asked an employee to check to see if they had any in the back and they did!! Score!

I’ve been stalking the Britax Marathon seats at Target for a week now, and they just marked them down from $181 to $129 yesterday. We have one that my 5 year old daughter used, but needed a new one for my infant son, as our old one will expire this next year. Thanks Collin for the heads up on this.
