Thanks!! I looked at brickseek and it said there were at least two in-stock at my store and that’s how many I was hoping to find. I read reviews on Amazon and it seems like most people like the camera and even though this is the basic GoPro, it is still a GoPro and basic is better than no GoPro. I live so close to Walmart that I ran over at 10:45 pm and of course no one was working in electronics. I knew they wouldn’t have any left if I waited until after work tomorrow to go over and check.
They didn’t have it on the shelf and didn’t even have a marked space for it. I stopped the guy cleaning the floors and asked him to find someone that could help me. He found a cashier manager who found someone else to open the lock-up area in the back of the store. They found two for me and they rang up $65 each at the register. 🙂 It took 30 minutes and that was a little frustrating because I should be in bed, but it saved me a ton of money on two Christmas gifts. My brother-in-law the surfer and my 14 yr old nephew are incredibly hard to buy gifts for and I know that this year they will LOVE their gifts… as long as they don’t get one in the next 7 months. 🙂 Now it is 11:30 and I’m home… but too excited about my great score to sleep…

FYI-you might be able to score the GoPro HERO+ LCD for $149 (regarding $299)!! That’s the one I ended up getting. Better camera, LOTS more features!

I wasn’t sure which one to get so I ended up getting both.
Brickseek shows the camera at my local walmart for $65 but I went into the store and they told me it was $95. ????
Did you ask them to actually scan it at the register? My store was showing $65 on Brickseek. When I went into the store they scanned it with their handheld scanner and said it was $99 on Walmart.com. I asked her to scan it at the register and it scanned at $65.
Every time I have went to Walmart to get one of these deals listed as available on Brickseek, the walmart employee will tell me it is not in stock and not for that price. Same thing today when I went to purchase this GoPro. The employee assured me they didn’t have any other GoPro than the Hero 4’s. I was relentless and asked him to just humor me. He end up going to the back and coming back with the item I inquired about. Once he rang it up, the price is as stated on this site and Brickseek ($65). Same thing happened when I bought one of the Chromebooks listed on this site that was for sale for $99 at Walmart. Thank you for posting these deals and for all of you trying to take advantage just make sure you are persistent.

I went to a store where they showed me the price as $99. Went to a second store and the employee at the photo center started laughing. She said “you also came for this camera?”. What’s the problem? She mentioned that they don’t have it but people keep coming for it. Another employee came and said they do not have any basic and have only pluses as they changed to newer model last wee. I asked whether he can check inside. He came back after 15 mins and asked me how many I want 🙂 he said these older model was hiding under some newer model. Got 2. Thanks.

Thank you! I’ve been wanting one of these for when I run trail races. I asked a worker to help me find them in store and she wasn’t too helpful. I found one in a case near tablets and when she rang it up for me it kept beeping and giving her problems. I checked later and there were none left in stock. I think she may have bought the other one I saw in the case for herself.
