IKEA: Tip from reader Erin – “I am sure there are thousands of your readers that have one of these IKEA dressers including me. I was always fearful that this was unstable and therefore never used it in my son’s room. Washer Settlement: Complaints about funky, smelly mold in front-loading washers by Whirlpool and Sears have resulted in several class-action lawsuits involving 5.6 million Whirlpool, Maytag, and Kenmore front-loaders made by Whirlpool. The parties eventually came to an agreement and now members of the class have until mid-October to collect a rebate or refund. Go here for details.

P.F. Chang’s Frozen Entrees Recall: ConAgra announced a recall of P.F. Chang’s frozen entrées due to metal pieces that may be embedded in the sauce contained within the frozen entrée products. View the the recall notice on the USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service website for more details.
