I have 4.5 year old that loves legos, would he be able to do this?? Or do they only let 6-14 participate?
My local store is quite strict on this age thing. They will even ask me his age again in store. One time I registered for a classmate of my son’s and she was running late… Employee would not let me have an extra bag to take home for her. Child has to physically be in store to build at my local store. YMMV
When you sign up, you put in your child’s birthdate. These builds are always sold out so it’s not really fair for a child who has not met the age requirement to take the place of a child who has.
YMMV. My store seems a little more lax if the child is close to 6y and is adept at building the Lego kit. They will definitely not hand out extra kits for siblings or friends.
Thanks! My daughter loves these Lego builds 🙂
You’re very welcome!
I wish they would have a free build also for kids under 6 years old. My 5 year old and I go to the lego store once a week and he loves legos. For the amount of money we have spent on legos, it would sure be nice to get some free models. The Toys R Us free builds are so strict however.
Meant to say the Toys R Us free builds aren’t so strict however!
