I’m wondering if I could use a silicone mat in the basket to prevent any mess.
Honestly, the clean up is a cinch, and thats coming from someone who hates washing dishes…… I know in the Cooks Essentials fryer you can use a silicone mat and any other oven safe bakeware.

I figured our what went wrong yesterday with my Big Plush purchases. Kohl’s is deducting the codes first THEN giving the tax break. My fryer total came to $72.97.
How does this do frying chicken wings?
I use aluminum foil in the tray and i use a piece of parchment paper in the basket.
sometime i will just lay the item i am cooking of the paper (like french fries) or wrap the item (like chicken).
just be careful that the paper does not get top in the burner on top because it cause a fire. Cut the parchmentnso no piece can fly up (when the fan starts to blow).
Also make sure you do not cover the whole basket because air needs to flow through the machine.
I recommend you keep your eyes on the machine when using these items…

Be aware of the capacity on these. You can’t pack them full, or you won’t get good air flow which leads to improper cooking. If you are cooking for more than 2, you will need something bigger. Also, the larger ones can do roasts and whole chickens in less than 45 minutes.
