I’ve bought them for every room from king to full beds and love them. They are so comfy and thick and yes they are water proof.

I have these comforters for every bedroom in our house. They are very nice and thick and comfortable. This model, however, is not waterproof. Also be sure to wash on a gentle cycle. The back of the comforter has a very thin paper-like fabric that will tear if washed on a heavy-duty cycle. The stuffing does not ball up when washed.
