I bought one a year ago for full price , easy to install and I love it , you can save money by controlling with your phone.
We love ours! Adjust the temp from your phone! So convenient!
We have the exact same one – love it!
Being able to adjust the temp from your phone is a big plus and if you are upgrading from an on programmable, you should see increased energy savings.
Does anyone know who installs these once you buy them?
Not my husband 😜
any HVAC dude
The link will take you to the site where you can find a contractor when you put in your zip code. For example I am with Duke energy and it showed me 3 companies in my area and showed me the rebates also.
Thanks for the helpful feedback Lisa!
Does anyone know what the average install cost is?
Thanks!
I ordered one of these from a deal Collin posted a few weeks ago, and I just installed it this morning. I’m a single mom, and I got it done in one hour. You could probably get it done in less time, but I was taking it very slow. I also got the echo dot from a deal posted here a few days ago, and from what I understand, it’s compatible with this thermostat. I’m off to try to get that going!
That’s awesome to hear! Thanks for the feedback! Good to know how easily you were able to install it!
I should add that my house and heating/cooling system are under 10 years old. I don’t know if that makes a difference, but all of the connections were pretty straightforward.
I’m a housewife and I just installed it myself. There are a lot of DIY videos on you tube you can find just make sure you have the c wire on your current setup and turn off your power before installing
