My cat got so sick every time we gave him these (the morning after he would throw up) that it prompted me to do an internet search. These are terrible ..please don’t give them to your cats. They can cause kidney damage as well as a whole host of other sicknesses.

My cats love these treats! If you look on Snopes.com, the renal failure claims are as yet unsubstantiated, but of course if your cat always throws up after eating a certain thing, you shouldn’t give him/her that certain thing. I think these treats are meant to be just that – occasional treats – like french fries are (or should be) for humans. Luckily, my boys do not get upset tummies the next day, so they will really enjoy this deal! Thanks!

Anything in excess is bad for kitties. My Lil guy is a rescue. He was so shy. He would only come out for these treats. We limit him to two or three at a time like the label says. These are the only treats he likes and he only eats one brand of chicken flavored cat food. He dislikes fish and other foods upset his tummy. Kitties are like kids, they each have a different metabolism.
