When it comes to deals with RR’s, you have to do separate transactions. Buy 1 pay for it, and buy another one. BUT DON’T ROLL YOUR RR. If you roll it, you will not receive another one.
What does it mean to roll your RR?
Means to use the RR for another transaction when the same RR will be issued.
Our area Walgreens are not coupon friendly anymore. If you buy 2 of the same items and have separate coupons for the 2 items it will only let you do one coupon. It is really not worth the stress.
I always carry their current coupon policy with me on my phone, specifically to navigate a hassle-free checkout. Best of luck to you. We have great managers and cashiers at our local wags. YMMV
