My 3rd grade daughter has one of the McKenzie PBKids backpacks and matching lunchbox. I bought them on clearance before she started 1st grade (after she went through 3 cheapee bags in kindergarten). She used them all of first grade and 3/4 of second grade and started this school year with them. They’ve held up great. I put them in my regular top loading washing machine at the beginning of each school year and they come out looking almost brand new. I think it helps that the background of ours is chocolate brown wih a fairly busy peacock pattern but even the light pink trip parts brighten up after a wash. I’m tempted to snag the floral one just in case this one finally wears out or she decides she needs a more mature pattern.
