Got this last time you posted. It’s held up to all my printing needs and scans pretty fast. Ink is pretty affordable and I can print easily from my phone. Totally recommend.

I have this printer as well. It is a nice printer and the ink prices for it are very reasonable. I can usually get the brand name ink for it for around $11.00.

I just spoke with a Brother technician and he said all cartridges must indicate they have ink in order for the black and white cartridge to work

These have 3 color cartridges and 1 black cartridge. I usually just keep the ink stocked and ready since it’s so cheap🙂. I haven’t tried to print with black only so not sure.

Does anyone know if you can take the ink cartridges and get them refilled at places like Costco or online or whatever? I really want a printer that you can refill the ink for!
My husband owns a Cartridge World store and can sell refills of these very inexpensively.
Thanks! I’ve bought refilled ink before for other printers, but sometimes it won’t work. The printer detects that it’s not “authentic” and won’t print 👎🏻

It’s a good printer with fairly cheap ink which is quite important in my opinion. I bought the canon printers previously and the ink was very expensive. I bought the generic ink for it but it still wasn’t cost effective if you print a lot like I do.

Best Buy has Brother Laser Printer for $69. We have several they are great. Can get inexpensive toner replacements on Amazon or eBay.

I just bought an HP Envy 4520 at Office Depot for $49. Super easy set up. HP has a program to provide ink to you for $2.99 per month. Worth checking into.
LOVE this printer. Purchased last year and it is still going strong. I print A LOT of power point presentation slides for school and it has been great.
