I have this blender. I bought it at the end of Nov when it was $189 (Best price at the time) and really love it. It’s powerful and simple to use. My 2 year old loves smoothies and we make them often. It’s literally a touch of Button to use. No damper needed. No shaking, to restarting a million times. Just before Christmas the price dropped to $159 and I repurchased and returned so I got it for the better price. I’d say anytime you can get it under $200 it’s a good deal. Also it has a huge warranty.

I also bought it when it was $159. I have been hawking this Blender for years and it is awesome. Smoothies are really super smooth. No little pieces of veggies at all. My kids and husband loves the smoothies I make with this blender while they hated the smoothies I made with my previous Oster blender.

I honestly haven’t used the other but I haven’t been displeased in the slightest with my 4 sides at all. Easy clean up, easy pour, easy to fill. Easy all around.

I have been debating getting a new blender. Can anyone you share your opinion on Blendtec vs Vitamix blenders. Thank you.
I watched many YouTube videos comparing the two. Almost all of them said that they were very similar. Vitamix has a damper to move things around and blendtec doesn’t. I’ve never needed a damper because the way the blendtec blends at different speeds through out its cycle so everything gets blended without any work. When I was in the market, I said id buy either a blendtec or vitamix because all the reviews were so similar in their final result. Blendtec ended up as a better deal, so that’s why I have a blendtec. Super pleased.
Blendtecs warranty is awesome. After 3 years of daily use my jar started smoking. They told me I shouldn’t hold the jar down while it’s blending (I was burning up the motor). but they sent me a new jar, no questions asked, no proof needed, none of the run around other companies make you go through. They just said throw that jar away and my new one was there within a week or two. I was SO happy since it was my fault it broke.
Jen, I did a ton of research before I purchased a blendtec. I read hundreds of reviews on both blendtecs and vitamixes, and I saw a theme emerge. I saw reviews of the blendtec by people who had formerly owned a vitamix and they said the blendtec was more powerful and worked better. I saw no such reviews on the vitamix. Then when a friend (who owns and loves her vitamix) visited and saw my blendtec in action, she said that it was better than her vitamix (since there’s no tamping needed). Both my husband and I LOVE our blendtec and use it all the time! Hope that helps!

I purchased this blender last time it was posted about a month ago at this great price. All I can say is that this blender is AWESOME! It is worth every penny.
We just got this. I’m already in love! We’ve been using a Ninja to make smoothies for a few years and this blows that out of the water!!
