On the topic of fish, in the fall you posted about the Pets in the Classroom grant and I applied and got it! We just set up a 10 gallon tank in my classroom and my inner city 8th graders loved every minute of it!!!!!
Here I thought I would have them for the tranquility and maybe a few would take an interest, but all of them once I told them I got the voucher bugged me about reading the directions and they googled how to take care of them! Those sweet moments are hard to come by at that age so thank you so much for posting that!

I also do Pets in the Classroom. Every year after your initial year, you can also apply for a substaning grant for up to $50 for supplies. I’ve bought additional fish, food, weekend feeders, a vacuum, etc. and they cover up to $50 a year. (You have to apply each year though.). Enjoy your fishies.
