I work in a Vet and this food is so high on protein that it causes dogs and cats to develop stones which can harm your pets life and your pockets. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FOOD!!!!!
Seems strange…my bag says Blue Buffalo Life Protection formula is 22% crude protein. A quick search of the protein percentages for the top dry dog foods listed on Dog Food Advisor’s site all report over 30%.
Not saying you’re wrong, just going off the numbers and my own dog’s experience with Blue Buffalo, but we have not had any problems with stones and he is perfectly healthy and happy on this food. Also, there are frequent deals and coupons for this brand that bring it down to an affordable, IMO healthy dry dog food.
@Andy – What cat food does the vet recommend for minimum health problems?
Thank you! I do not trust Blue Buffalo on ANY level.
They were turned out some time ago for claiming that a product
had no ‘filler,’ but it did.
Awesome!! Thanks ❤️ My dogs love these cookies! Even my picky Chihuahuas. I am going to order a few of the other Blue treats too 😃 Great deal! TY!
You’re welcome!
My dog dislikes all biscuit cookie treats of any kind. I got a deal smiliar to this a few weeks ago and give my dog a treat or 2 a week and he loves these cookies
Does anyone have feedback on jet.com? And do they have a membership fee? Thank s
I buy stuff from Jet.com a lot and they are great. No there is no membership fee.
A relative in vet school says DO NOT BUY this brand. Just FYI.
