This is such a great deal!!!!
Thank you for posting this-it does look like a great deal. I just have a few questions.
Does this include veterans who did not retire from the military? We served 10 years.
How is Tmobile’s Service? Does the high speed data slow down after a certain amount of data has been used?
Thank you for your answers
Hi there! Here is what I found in the FAQ –
“Who is eligible for T-Mobile ONE Military?
Customers with eligible military status and their families, including active duty military, veterans, National Guard, Reserve, and Gold Star family members, are eligible for T-Mobile ONE Military.”
You can always call in to customer service for additional details – 1-855-404-7630
Also, I am a T-Mobile customer and I have been very happy with my service.
Hope that helps!
Crazy, I just looked into this we are military with T-mobile, we have 3 lines and with the current military discount they offer pay $93 a month. On our current non contract plan we are not eligible for free netflix (husband told me why but I forgot)…this new plan will save us only $3 but according to the website make us eligible for the free Netflix plan.
Does your plan include taxes? If not, you are saving more because the $90 for the new plan includes taxes. You are potentially saving even more than $3. Also I am almost sure that your plan has limited data – this one offers unlimited. Not to mention other perks that are not part of your old plan – Netflix, 1 hour free WiFi on a flight and texting on a flight, etc.
One thing to look into is the Kickback promo. I heard that it is not going to be offered starting April 22nd and according to the terms of this deal any current promos will be lost so you have to draw the line and see what you must keep and what your savings are after taxes or any other potential discounts that may disappear.
Thank you Amber for your response. I really appreciate it!
Plus we get T-Mobile Tuesdays every week that gives you cool freebies like umbrellas, Vudu and Redbox codes, stack of Denny’s Dulce de leche pancakes, and last week a really cool insulated bag for shopping. I have been with them for 10 years and the customer service is awesome.
Thank you. I’m letting my son know. Thank you.
You’re very welcome! Glad you can pass this along to him!
I’m so tempted at this price compared to Verizon! My daughter is moving to Salt Lake City UT though. Any experience with T-Mobile in that area? Especially when hiking? Thanks!
I am 40 miles south of Salt Lake and although I have Verizon myself, much of my extended family here has T mobile and love it..and it has good coverage. Verizon does have a bit better coverage in the mountains though.
This is awesome! We still have Verizon’s service, and they are expensive! We are ready to switch, but we have the installments, which I hate. I wonder if they have specials for that?
Awesome… I just found out that Tmobile also has a plan for those 55+…. $50 unlimited and I can be added even if I’m not 55+.. my honey turns 55 in august.. we will be getting that plan for sure… LOVE Tmobile
Can someone with a general discharge get on the military plan?
