I think unsweetened sparkling water is an acquired taste. I used to really hate them but now o drink them all the time. These are similar to La Croix. We really like the mango, cherry and strawberry! Lime is ok (we like lime La Croix better)

Looks like people think this is a soda/pop. That’s not what it is, it’s just carbonated flavored water. So it would be gross if you were expecting pop. If you like la croix then I think you’ll like this. Mango is my favorite so far, excited to try other flavors in the multi pack!

As others have stated, if you don’t like drinks like La Croix, you won’t like these. They’re a flavored sparkling water.

I love the Sparkling Ice brand (a “naturally flavored sparkling water”). I tried the strawberry flavor of the Bubly hoping it would be similar, but I thought it was disgusting. My kids who drink just about anything took one sip and said it was gross.
I believe the Sparkling Ice brand is artificially sweetened making it taste more like soda. There are two types of beverages that are labeled “sparkling water” that are VERY different from each other, an artificially sweetened variety and an unsweetened variety (this brand) making it confusing to consumers. I love the unsweetened kind and have mistakenly bought the artificially sweetened kind and had to throw it out because I don’t like sweet. I wish the sparkling water makers would get it together and pick different names, lol.
Flavored carbonated water is now a trend. Besides Bubly and La Croix, there are other brands that now sell them: Dasani, Spendrift, even Target’s own Simply Balanced. It’s a good way to break the soda habit and still have the bubbly taste in your mouth. BTW, the water tastes SO MUCH better if you drink it chilled or over ice, it doesn’t taste as good if you drink it at room temperature.
YES!! It’s great cold! Room temp is no good! I’m the only one that likes these in my house, but my kids like the ICE and store brand sparkling waters that are available almost anywhere. These don’t have much flavor, but I like that I get to try all of them, that way I can figure out which ones to buy again! I like the fact that they’re slowly making their way into check out line coolers too!
I LOVE the Spindrift. It’s more expensive, but the bit of fruit juice gives me the bite of acidity I miss. All sodas have some acid in them and the sparkling waters don’t, so this fits the bill for me. Maybe it will be a bit more affordable when it becomes more widely available. Here’s hoping!
I’m looking forward to trying the variety pack! I really enjoy other sparkling waters and have wanted to try this brand. 🙂 Do not expect sugar or a strong flavor!
