I have this set and I LOVE it! The colors of my cakes and frostings are vibrant and beautiful when I use these colors.
Agreed! These are much better than the cheap ones you find at the grocery store
Do you think they are better than gel colors?
How about red? I always have the hardest time with it. Any tips?
Thank you😀
https://www.craftsy.com/cake-decorating/article/dark-frosting/ my sister in law uses christmas red. i just searched best way to get darkest red or deepest red out of food coloring and there is a lot of posts, videos, wilton has posts about it also.
Do not use no-taste red food color. I know the red food color does not taste great but the no-taste kind does not make a bright red color. It’s more along the lines of light red no matter how much you add.
Awesome, thank you! I recently ran out and needed some more!
You’re so welcome!
Wonder how these would work for slime? My daughter is obsessed with making slime right now and these would be some neat colors if they would work.
Do not use on slime. I use them for cakes and my granddaughter loves making slime. We used a blue color and every time she played with the slime it turned her hands blue.
