I was able to do both. It looked like only one amount came off, but the itemized totals were 20% lower at checkout. Then it took off the $5 way down at the bottom.

Would these make good teacher gifts? My son has special needs and partcipates in block scheduling/teacher teams; so we have a total of 10 teachers/paras/therapists. I love each of them dearly as they love my son; but I cannot afford the gifts they truly deserve. I thought these along with a “May your Christmas be merry & bright!” tag would certainly be cute…but would they be off-putting in any way? I don’t know what to do for so many people that is worthy of how much they do for us; yet affordable.
I would say no. These are very kiddie looking and the quality isn’t going to be there. I would suggest a card with a very nice handwritten note. If you feel you must get them something split up a pack of nice pens or pencils (sharpie or Ticonderoga)
I’m a special needs teacher and I think your idea is thoughtful and kind I’d love to receive one of these from my kids. Years ago I was the cheerleading coach and they gave me pencils w Christmas erasers on them add your tag can’t go wrong I’d use it even if it’s not quality just because it’s from kids. They have tags if you search for teachers for Christmas.
My girls between them have like 18 teachers, bus drivers and specialists. I am going to do gift cards for their main teachers, then red box gift codes for the rest. There are cute ideas for that on Pinterest.

Does anyone know how the erasers work on these erasers? I plan to give these out to my daughter’s class and am curious to know if the erasers are usable or more for decoration? I’ve had other pencils with similar eraser tops that just smeared colored ink from the eraser when trying to erase.

I bought the Christmas ones with a 50% off coupon a couple weeks ago – I plan to tie 2 pencils and a candy cane together with a small jingle bell and a tag attached for her to give out to her classmates – $2.50 for the pencils, $2.69 for the candy canes and the tags and bells are from the Dollar Tree. That makes it about $0.30 for each classmate, much cheaper than any trinkets I could find from Oriental Trading and at her age the kids always need pencils. The savings on her classroom gifts meant I could “splurge” and let her get a cute Ty keychain for a few of her close friends.
