If you already have an older generation of an Echo device, they are offering a pretty good deal to trade it in for a new version. I was able to trade my first generation Echo, get an instant $25 GC for it, plus an extra 25% off a new device. The Echo is currently on sale for $50. After the instant GC and the % off, I only paid $10 out of pocket for the new generation Echo. BUT, you can only get the device, not the option with the Smart Plug. They are offering trade ins for older Echo dots as well. The amount of the instant GC will vary based on the type of device you trade in.
