Bought this for our foyer as we were looking for seating for putting shoes on, as well as some storage for shoe overflow, and this bench was just what we were looking for. It’s got a narrower profile so does not stick way out into the hallway/foyer, but wide enough to sit on to put your shoes on. Love the bins underneath – we use for shoe overflow, as well as hats and gloves.
I wanted a nice looking, but not expensive way of storing our hats, mittens, etc. that also supplied a place to sit down. This storage bench was perfect! My husband and I put it together (it helps to have two people) easily. We are very pleased with it, and it makes our foyer look so much better with a proper place to store the odds and ends.
We purchased this so we can put it in the foyer. We don’t like to wear shoes in the house so when we walk in the door we can sit down on this bench to take off/ put on shoes before entering/leaving the house. We also use it to store our shoes. It’s great. It was very easy to put together and is very sturdy.
