Unfortunately, CVS does not offer price matching. However, the company does offer tons of other ways to save! Customers can sign up for a free ExtraCare account to collect rewards and get special offerings. Plus, CVS also offers rainchecks for out-of-stock items and the raincheck NEVER expires. If you happen to have a CVS coupon for the product, the raincheck will also guarantee you receive the discounted price once the item is back on shelves. Just present the coupon to the cashier when requesting the raincheck.

Something that’s been annoying me with CVS ads for a while has been their Buy 1 Get the 2nd for 50% off. However, not showing the cost of the first item makes it impossible to know how much you will be paying or whether or not it’s such a good deal. I always appreciate your postings with the online price. Of course what you pay in-store, at least in my area, can be a good bit more.
You’re welcome, Pamala. It is a bit frustrating that they are leaving out some pricing. So sorry that some of the online prices don’t coordinate with your area. 😔 I’ve noticed that my online prices (or in the app when I do a pick-up order) have been lower than in-store, which was surprising for me. Hoping they might listen to customer feedback on this, and return to transparent pricing. ❤️
Yes, just be transparent! There are other options otherwise. I too order online and do a store pickup. I also like to just browse in-store at times.
I hear ya! ❤️ I do like to browse in-store too (especially if I’m in there to pick-up an order, or they’ve sent me a good ExtraCare coupon or reward.
What happened to CVS having bi-weekly ads. Was that a one time thing?
Great question, Kimberly! We’ll keep our eyes peeled for any new information about the bi-weekly ad cycles! 🩷
Thanks Trish. I wonder if they gave it a shot and it just didn’t work out…
You’re welcome! 🤗 That could be!
