Amazon RxPass just launched, a prescription subscription to save you money on medication!
Amazon just launched RxPass, an affordable monthly prescription service. 💊
Looking to save money on medications? Amazon Prime members are in luck! Amazon just introduced a new prescription subscription to save you time and money. RxPass from Amazon Pharmacy is a $5 monthly prescription subscription that can help you get your generic medications for less.
For the low cost of just $5 a month, Prime members can receive all their eligible medications and have affordable access to pharmaceuticals that are used to treat over 80 common conditions. Amazon estimates that you can save up to 68% on each of your prescriptions. And the perks don’t stop there! These medications get delivered for FREE right to your door. Plus, Amazon Pharmacy offers 24/7 support.
Amazon RxPass is now available in most U.S. states! For many, this new service is a game-changer! 🙌
How do you sign up for RxPass by Amazon Pharmacy and what’s included?
Prime members can visit the Amazon Pharmacy website to sign up and view all of the eligible medications.
More than 50 common prescriptions made the list including doxycycline, bupropion, cyclobenzaprine, finasteride, naproxen, tamoxifen citrate, and losartan. There are several eligible medications available that treat common conditions like allergies, breast cancer, depression, diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.
It’s important to note that an Amazon RxPass is NOT insurance and you also cannot pay the monthly fee via an HSA or FSA. However, RxPass may come in handy if you don’t have medical coverage or if you pay more than $5 per month for medication. In addition to saving on prescriptions, the FREE delivery can be helpful for those with a tight schedule or mobility issues.
Hip Tip: If one of your medications is not covered under Amazon RxPass, you can still use your PrimeRx card. This card helps you get up to 80% off at over 60,000 pharmacies!
Who is not eligible to use Amazon RxPass?
Residents of California, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Washington are not currently eligible for RxPass. However, those residents can still access the Amazon Pharmacy.
Non-Prime members are also not eligible.

I belong to a Christian health share ministry that is similar to insurance, but not technically insurance. Anyway, I posted your link on their site, and several on the page were scared this was a scam because of the word “medicine” spelled “medecine” in the link title. I assured them I follow your site all the time, and you are wonderful!
Thank you for the kind words and for sharing the post, Dorothy! It looks like we did have a typo, and I’ve got that all updated now. Appreciate you letting us know! ❤️
Thank you so VERY much!! I posted it again with the correction.
Dorothy is that CHM you belong to?
I have had Samaritan Ministries for over 20 years and would never go back to traditional insurance. Any questions I can try to help. They have been wonderful and we have never had any issues. It is less than half of what I would have to pay with my employer and the deductible is $2000 less.
I have Samaritan Ministries, too!! We’ve had them for about 8 years and it’s been great!!
We belong to CHM. They have been truly a God send. Out daughter got very sick, spent 2 weeks in the hospital and the entire stay was covered in full.
Do you pay $5 monthly subscription then the discounted cost of ur meds? If so, Walmart has a much better program. No subscription. A 30d supply is $4 and a 90d supply is $10. Includes lots of generics.
Great question, Kay! 🥰 It is just $5 per month. 🎉
“With RxPass from Amazon Pharmacy, Prime members never pay more than $5 a month in total to have all of their eligible medications delivered to their door for free. All medications require a valid prescription. The flat fee is an add-on to Prime membership.”
For $5 a month, I can get 3 prescriptions mailed to me? That $5 covers all my meds?
