Sous vide cooking is a popular chef’s technique that produces restaurant-quality results. The food is cooked evenly edge to edge, with no worry of overcooking.
This cooker can be attached to pots as small as 5″, and can cook in a water bath of up to 4 gallons. The device comes with a digital display that enables you to set the temperature and time manually. You can also download the app on your smartphone to access more advanced sous vide features.

I am a terrible cook. I actually got this as a Christmas present for my girlfriend. My thinking was that it would allow her to have a little easier time preparing steaks, but I’ve actually ended up using it way more than she has. It’s just so easy.
The specific unit, has Bluetooth connectivity, but I’ve never used that. All the other features work exactly the way that they’re supposed to. A 5-year-old could operate the machine. Like you just stick it in the water, set the temperature, hit the play button, and the thing’s ready to go. I’ll come back 4 or 5 hours later and eat whatever’s been sitting in the hot water and it comes out amazing.
So far I’ve used it to make eggs, steak, meatloaf, chicken, and lamb. And they all turned out amazing. And like I said I can’t cook to save my life.

We have an anova sous vide, and we absolutely love it! A cool thing about sous vide is that it’s super exact with temperatures, so you get consistent results. You can also cook things at a lower temperature for longer times while still maintaining food safety, so it keeps meats from drying out! Seriously – chicken cooked in the sous vide for several hours at 155 vs cookings chicken to 165 in the oven are two very different food experiences. I’ve even heard of folks pasturizing eggs using their sous vide.
Wow! It sure sounds cool, Emily! 🎉❤️ Thanks a bunch for taking the time to comment and explain how well it has worked for you! 🤗
