As a teacher, please no candles, mugs or lotion… we’d be happier with just a nice card (or something else, if you’re feeling generous).

This is why I always second guess getting anything for the teachers. I was a teacher for a long time and loved just having their sweet little faces light up as they handed over the gift. It’s all in the perspective! Merry Christmas!

Im a teacher. I love getting lotion because my hands are chapped from constant washing. Regift it if u don’t like it. Be happy someone thought of u.

Thank you!! My cousin is a teacher for the Los Angeles school district and she always has a positive attitude too. It’s the thought that counts and poeple need to remember to be polite when receiving any gift. In fact she loves candles and lotions and while not everyone has the same tastes it’s still the thought that counts.

I got some of their fall candles and LOVED them, so I am definitely going to try these. I’m still burning the pecan caramel and I think I gain weight just from the smell lol.

      LOL, thanks for the laugh!

LOL! Happy to hear you’ve been loving them! Pecan Caramel sure sounds yummy!

These candles are the worst in my opinion. It produces a lot of black smoke and no smell.

DARN! Thanks for letting us know what you thought of them.

    • Lisa

Agree! I’ve never burned a candle that produces this much smoke and soot.

Also a teacher. (23 years) I regift a lot of things because of smells. I don’t want to be ungrateful, but I’m also not going to keep something I don’t like or that makes me sick. I know some of my co-workers are very smell sensitive and have told parents not to send scented items. Just think about that stinky candle someone gave you in the past and remember we could end up with 20+ stinky candles of various scents. We have a book party in my classroom. Each student brings a book and we draw numbers so every kid goes home with a book for Christmas Break. I’ve asked that if parents want to send me a gift that they consider a kids book and I add to my classroom library. They get used far more than any gift for me.
