I have to say these Astercook knives are a good set of SS knives and the aesthetic is really cool. On top of the chromium portion of the steel that makes these Astercook knives stainless steel, the set I received also has some type of coating covering all but the cutting edge that gives these an extra, extra layer of protection because it works as a physical barrier to the various elements in the kitchen that can be damaging to the chromium/chromium oxide itself, leaving the cutting edge the only exposed portion of the knife. I’m impressed by this coating and it seems to work well thus far.
For a stainless steel blade, these Astercook knives are sharp and do a fine job in my home kitchen. I’ve used these knives many times now and I am happy with the performance. These have a nice hand feel and are very easy to use. These are nicely ergonomic.
I absolutely recommend them to anyone who wants a set of dishwasher-safe knives. In my opinion, based on what I expect out of stainless steel knives and what I’ve seen from these knives so far, I’m giving 5 out of 5 stars. I found nothing to complain about. I even think these are giftable due to the aesthetic along with the packaging. Definitely a 5-star item for the sale price.
