I recently purchased the ASUS – 14.0″ Laptop – Intel Celeron N4020 – 4GB Memory – 64GB eMMC – Star Black to use for college and I can say this computer was exactly what I needed. The cool touchpad feature that’s interchangeable between a mouse and the numerical keypad is a cool design It is located on the top right of the mousepad – just a click to change it. The slick camera-hidden design is pretty neat. I didn’t see that when I order it although it is great to have! I am NOT dissatisfied with buying this lightweight laptop as it can do the things I need for school! Great Buy!
I needed a laptop for cad design and some graphic design rendering. This laptop does all of that with no problem. It runs cool to the touch with no noisy fans. The speakers are pretty loud for video watching. For the price, the 14-inch screen is a plus. It boots up pretty quickly with Windows OS. Works with a wireless mouse and setup was easy.

This looks like a good budget laptop according to the reviews, and I need one for college! I’ve seen some great Chromebook deals on H2S, however my online degree program is incompatible with chromebooks (but since this laptop isn’t a chromebook, it’s just what I’ve been waiting for!) and it looks like it comes with a year of MS Office, which I also need for school. Thanks so much for sharing the good deals and saving us students some money!

Please be aware, 4G of ram is really not a lot. Most slower computers still come with 8G and generally additional slots for upgrading. Don’t expect to be able to treat this as you would a “normal” laptop. This is designed for low multitasking and very basic use. Just make sure you’re aware of exactly what you’re purchasing! If it’s too good to be true, it usually is >.<
I completely agree. I got one with 4 GB and it’s the slowest thing ever.
I bought this laptop when it was on sale for $100 a couple of months ago and works just fine for everything that we have tried to use it for so far.

I bought two of these for online homeschooling, and I immediately regret it. They are terrible for running the Adobe connect software. We ended up switching to something better. If all you want to do is light web browsing you would probably be ok, but save your $ for something better if you need to do anything else.
