TIP: Reviewers suggest keeping or using the hardware from your current toilet seat as it often works better than the ones provided with this set.
This innovative 2-in-1 toilet seat includes a built-in potty training seat for toddlers along with a normal-sized, adult toilet set. The potty training seat part can be easily lifted up or detached when your little one is not using it. It makes potty training a breeze as the entire family can still use your toilet and you don’t have to deal with the extra clutter or frustration of using separate potty chairs or seats either!
This adult toilet seat and lid feature a slow-close mechanism that prevents the loud slam that standard toilet seats make. And, the kids’ seat attaches to the lid with a magnet, allowing for a slow close too so no small fingers get caught.
Plus, it’s designed with non-slip rubber bumpers on both the lid and bottom of the seat preventing the seat from shifting and reducing the risk of falls and injuries.

We bought two of these for our house of three toddlers, all learning or will be learning potty training. We have a lot of space constraints and a separate potty chair just wasn’t working for us. This is a great alternative because it teaches the kiddos how to safely get on and off the toilet but doesn’t let them slip in! It has helped build confidence in our 2-year-old and looks great in the bathroom.
Our toddler was afraid of the training toilet we first bought. Then we got this. Game changer! Now he is interested and wants to sit on it—the first step of success for potty training.
I found installation super easy. NOTE: The plastic portion acts as an anchor. For example, anyone who has ever installed a wall anchor, you know there is a point when you hear a “click” and you know that your anchor is ready. This works in a similar fashion. When screwing in the seat, (step 4), listen for the “click”.
The screw will loosen instantly. But now the screw is ready for the anchor. So to tighten, place your fingers on the plastic below the rim and tighten the screw above. The result is perfectly tight and it does not budge! There is no need to cut anything for fit. As for the comfort of the toilet seat, we found it to be more comfortable than our old one.
Great price! We paid $45 at Menards
