I had bought a magnetic block set off Amazon for a few dollars less before I found this site. Let me tell you, I wish I would have found this first! Not only is the kit more than double the size (Amazon is a 100-piece set), the magnets are considerably stronger and it makes a HUGE difference. These were bought as a gift for our 5-year-old, but they were an immediate hit with the whole family and we play with them frequently!
Our not quite yet 2-year-old boy will stack them and knock them over repeatedly, while our daughter will have competitions for best house/highest tower with mom and dad. We built a tower nearly up to our 8-foot ceiling in the basement and then dad encouraged our daughter to knock it over, which I was very against. (I lost). But the blocks didn’t chip or break!
