What size hard drive would you suggest? Thinking of purchasing one for an 11 year old boy

    • Ron Wise

The standard 128GB size is perfect. I have about 30 games installed now and have no space issues.

  2. Ron Wise

I agree with a lot of these, especially Walkabout Mini-Golf and Beat Saber (have sunk at least 100 hours combined into those!). Puzzling Places is also a good choice for a more relaxed-pace experience.

Two suggestions if you’re getting a Quest:
    1. ALWAYS buy games when they’re on sale. There’s almost always some sale going on at Meta, and sometimes they have 30+ games on sale at a time for 25%-40% off. Meta also occasionally sends out a 25% or 30% off coupon specific to the user.
    2. Before activation of your quest for the first time, be sure to get a referral from someone. That will get you (and the referrer) $30 of credit to use in the Quest store, enough to get a couple good games on sale. If you don’t have a link then please consider using mine: https://www.oculus.com/referrals/link/Ryaemi/

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing your suggestions, Ron! Glad to hear how much you enjoy the Oculus games! 🤗❤️

    • Lori

Ron….I bought my son the Meta Quest for Christmas and used your referral. You should be getting credit! Thanks for referral link!

  3. Steph

Thanks! We got our 12 year old one for Christmas. Is there an App Store to get all of these? This is awesome to read.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

You’re welcome, Steph! I did spot this helpful article on their site that shares how to download new content! 💕

  4. Kim

I love going to the Browser in my Quest 2 and playing Moon Rider. So fun, a great work out, and FREE!

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for letting us know what your favorite activity is, Kim! 🥰

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the heads up, Ron! 🎉🙌
