I have an older model of this machine, and I honestly think it’s great to keep on hand! You never know when you’ll need to clean up a mess or a spill, and it has removed quite a few different things from my carpets. I would say it works best on fresh messes vs something that’s been in there for a while. I love a good carpet cleaning appliance and have tried a few, but the cordless aspect of this one is a game-changer. Admittedly, small messes started getting overlooked in our house because no one wanted to pull out the cleaner for them, which required mixing the solution, plugging it in, and a slightly tedious appliance cleaning process.
Since we keep this one pre-filled with the solution, it takes the same amount of time to grab the pet eraser, spray the mess, scrub and suction, and then give the waste chamber a quick rinse as it would for us to just clean by hand. The only difference is that the pet eraser cleans SO better and the stain is fully gone, even on lighter colored surfaces (we have a white couch and cream colored rugs).
