We have been using these for years when we travel. My boys keep the deflated booster in their carry on backpack and then when we get to the rental car it takes 30 seconds for them to get the booster inflated and installed. When we are not traveling I keep them in the trunk of my car in case we pick up a friend or two that need booster seats.
