These are the best non-stick pans ever. I’ve used a lot of pans over the years. I’m a senior citizen and have cooked a lot of meals. Eggs and omelets slide right out…you have to watch when flipping an item that it doesn’t go flying! Buy while on sale.

We just bought these in November (big $99 set with removable handles-dark blue outside) and I would absolutely recommend them. They are replacing a non-stick Calphalon set that I have had replaced 3 times (from Calphalon) since 2000 due to peeling non-stick finish since they are under lifetime warranty. The Carote pans clean so easily and heat evenly (we use a gas stove), but they do cook differently. I am still getting used to them (and I cook a lot), but they aren’t bad – just something new. The Carote pans are difficult to get a good browning/sear, and the detachable handles flex a little bit, but the handles are easy to use, feel very sturdy even with a heavy load in the pan, and the handles are removable to clean and store/stack! So great!! I have found I don’t really need handles on fry pans all the time since these pans are so much sturdier on the burner and stay put. I sometimes just click the handle on when I am done cooking to move the hot pan. The glass lids have rubber rings around the outer edge and even when cooking red sauce they didn’t stain – surprised! They are better than I expected, and I would recommend! They are better than the super expensive calphalon pans (except for quick browning) and I love the removable handles, but if you don’t care about that, I’d get the permanently attached handles that are more sturdy. Give them a try!! (Hope this helps)
