Clarks make an excellent shoe. They are amazingly comfortable feels like you are walking on a cloud. The fit is true to size I wear a size 6. I purchased another pair 2 years ago and they were getting worn out. I wear these shoes inside and outside in all settings. I also washed them with Dawn soap, water and a scrub brush many times. The Velcro strap allows for adjust and they do stretch over time but not to the point they become loose. The color I ordered was Pewter and it takes on a taupe look in some lighting.
