Surprisingly, I used these as a kid – well pre-teen! These reliable colored pencils were a sleek alternative to regular crayons or colored pencils which seemed too ‘childish’ for a COOL middle-schooler at the time. Plus, with the twist feature, I never had to worry about the tip breaking off or using a pencil sharpener!
I love Crayola products but I prefer the twistable crayons to the color pencils. While they do have good pigment and color smoothly, you need to be careful not to drop them because the inner crayon breaks easily.
