Does CVS have some sort of coupon limit and the coupons disappear before the expiration date? I tried to find both the Garnier Fructis and Covergirl coupons and nothing comes up when I search in the coupons section and it just brings me to the home page when I click on your links. I used to be a big Walgreens shopper and the layout seems similar, but I haven’t shopped at CVS before. I didn’t read anything in the guide about why the coupons would not be available to me even though the expiration dates in your posts are still a few days away. Picking up an Amazon delivery that got routed to CVS but I guess I won’t become a CVS shopper at this rate.
Good question, Heather! 💕 CVS doesn’t specifically state that they have any type of coupon limit, though they may implement things internally on their end. It can help to double check you’re logged into your ExtraCare account, especially if links are just taking you to the homepage. Also, since their new weekly deals start on Sundays, it’s usually best to clip those coupons as soon as the new ad goes live or when we post the deal, just in case they disappear early. Hoping there may be some deals available soon that you can score!
There is an expiration date on them. Some of them, when you add it to your card they will extend the date a week. Not all of them, just CRTs. Ones that are CVS coupons, not manufacturers coupons. These are usually the ones for something like “$4 off 2 Colgate toothpaste.” Not everyone gets the same CRTs, as those are more tailored to your shopping habits. The longer you shop there, the better your CRTs get. In my experience, anyway. It’s well worth it to learn how to work CVS deals. I wouldn’t shop there without taking full advantage of the Extra Care card and deals. So the ones you see in other peoples deals are likely CRT’s, and they may have one you don’t. Your first trip you will spend money, but as you go, week after week, working the deals and accumulating ECB’s, you’ll get to where you are never paying anything but taxes out of pocket for most things.
