Make this Halloween safe, fun, and inclusive with these allergy-free treats at CVS!

Teal Halloween Pumpkin basket aside toys

CVS is teaming up with FARE (Food Allergy Research & Education) again this year to make Halloween fun and safe for everyone through the Teal Pumpkin Project. Putting a teal pumpkin on your porch lets families know you have non-food treats for kids with allergies.

CVS Spooky Village Items

  • Why it matters: Millions of children in the U.S. have food allergies, and even a small trace of an allergen can cause a reaction. Offering safe options means every child can join in without worry.
  • How to join in: Paint or buy a teal pumpkin and fill a bowl with fun treats like glow sticks, stickers, or small toys. Then, visit FARE’s Enchanted Map to find or register teal pumpkin houses in your neighborhood. It’s like a treasure map for allergy-friendly fun!

I love this idea. Halloween is scary (on so many levels) for those with food allergies.
