We have a 6-person tent (which means it’s barely big enough for the 4 of us). This freed up so much space and the kids loved it. Each bed packs down so small they are easy to travel with and they are super easy to assemble and take apart. I can do it by myself, though having a partner can be helpful!

We use these all the time. Camping, visiting family who don’t have a lot of extra sleeping space, and even in our own home when renovations moved the kids out of their bedrooms. They take a little bit to assemble, but once you get the hang of it it’s very straightforward. I love that these are bunks as they save so much floor space in our tent (or wherever). The only downside is they are heavy and bulky compared to air mattresses, but the trade-off is well worth it.

Each bunk weighs ~70 lbs. The steel tubes are heavy gauge thicknesses. I understand why it can hold up to 1000 lbs (combined 500 lbs weight per bunk). It has two separate heavy-duty nylon storage bags making storage and travel easier. I highly recommend getting this 2XL version (not large) that allows more room between the steel tubs for your knees if you are a side sleeper.
