Pop into your local Dollar Tree and see if you can find this Homebright Refreshing Fabric Rinse at a bargain price – just $1.25 for a 15oz bottle! Note that it’s currently available in-store only and may vary by location.

This laundry additive is supposed to compare to the popular Downy Rinse & Refresh which we also found at Dollar Tree for $1.25 for a little 4oz bottle.

These fabric rinses are designed to replace liquid fabric softener. The dual formula acts as a laundry booster to remove stubborn odors and residues that may be embedded in fabrics for cleaner, fresher laundry.

Dollar Tree’s brand is clearly the better value with a budget-friendly price of only 8¢ per ounce vs. a whopping 31¢ for the name brand. However, price alone isn’t going to be enough if the product isn’t as effective or if you need to use more to produce the same result. 🤔

I didn’t have any scent on my laundry after using these but the towels were softer and fluffier. I didn’t notice much of a difference between the generic and Downy besides the generic brand maybe making my towels a bit softer. – Hip Sidekick, Stefanie
