Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library Offers FREE Books to Kids | A Beautiful Way to Honor Her Legacy

Dolly Parton passed away today at age 80, leaving behind an incredible legacy of music, kindness, and giving back. ❤️ One of the most special parts of her legacy is Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which continues to put free books in the hands of children all over the world.
If you have a child under the age of 5, they may be eligible to receive a FREE, age-appropriate book every month from birth through age 5. Simply head to ImaginationLibrary.com and enter your country and address to see if this Dolly Parton book club is available in your area. If so, you’ll be able to register your child and start receiving FREE books in the mail each month!
That’s up to 60 free books by age 5 😱 So awesome!
Note that not all areas in the United States participate in Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program. In order to register a child, you must be their legal guardian. If that’s not you, you can pass this information to the legal guardian to complete the sign up.
How are the Dolly Parton books chosen?
The Dolly Parton book club books are all published by Penguin Random House and chosen annually by a Books Selection Committee. These experts use their experience in early years and education to choose age-appropriate books.
Children in the same age range will receive the same book each month. That means if you happen to have twins or triplets, they will receive the same book but will be able to build up their own individual libraries. As some households in the USA speak more than one language, the book list even includes a few selections of bilingual books!

My daughter knows the books are coming and every month she asks me when will her book present be here. They’re great books. Our favorite discovery was the Otis the Tractor series, such cute books. And Bunny’s Library Trip was so cute as well.
Both of our boys, ages 3 years and 16 months, LOVE getting their book in the mail every month! Our older son has never been into reading or story time, but this helps make it so much more exciting for him. Our younger son has always loved books and you can tell it makes him feel extra special to get his very own every month. I am so excited to sign our new addition up when they arrive in a few months, too.

I enrolled my grandson when he was born and he’s gotten some of the best books delivered each month. At 18 mos, he adores books so it’s a huge blessing!
We have this program in our area land the quality of the books is very impressive! Sadly, my youngest will age out of the program this month but it’s been exciting to find a surprise in our mailbox each month
