Earth Breeze Laundry Detergent Sheets 60-Count Boxes in Fresh Scent or Fragrance Free

Hip Sidekick, Sara, has tried these laundry detergent sheets and LOVES them!

“Wow! I must admit, I was very skeptical of these at first and was VERY turned off by the Fresh Scent. HOWEVER, turns out I think these are the coolest laundry detergent products ever! I only like to use products that are safe for my home, family, and the Earth so I love how clean and thoughtful these are.

They also work really well and despite not liking the initial scent of the Fresh Scented one I could barely smell it after my clothes were dried and my clothes came out very clean and fluffy.

To top it off, this stuff is extremely travel-friendly and I’ll most definitely be taking it on my next vacation to do laundry! THESE. ARE. GAME. CHANGING!”

Our readers are fans of these sheets as well…

Absolutely love these sheets! I’m extremely sensitive to chemicals and these don’t have irritants that affect my eczema. Love that they also donate a load to the veterans for each pack you purchase. Cant go wrong with these!! It’s a win-win! – Hip reader, queensgal22

I tried these the last time you posted, and I’ve been very pleased! I have three active boys and we use fragrance-free for my son’s sensitive skin – it works just as well as all free and clear tablets! It’s super simple and I love that there is NO plastic and it’s safe for the environment. I’ll definitely be getting this again. – Hip reader, Jill L.

They are a bit pricey if you wash for a large family, but they are great for traveling and sending to college kids in dorms. I read about them last fall when my daughter went off to college, then decided to try the unscented for myself since I don’t like the waste with big plastic bottles. Bonus is they take up so much less space in my laundry closet cabinet and I don’t have to worry about spills. – Hip reader, KellieZ

My father-in-law travels all the time for work and he loves to pack these so he can take a small travel bag and wash clothes on the go! – Hip Sidekick, Chelsey L.

I switched to these for my family of 7 and I think they save us a lot of money! My younger kids use half sheets for their laundry. – Hip reader, ThriftyChristy

Should you really sort your laundry before washing it?

I don’t know how the brands compare but I bought some laundry sheets through Amazon during prime days for much less than this price and they have been great. I love having no waste!

I purchased the 12 pack , Earth breeze, came to $9.90 per pack. I think that’s the best deal out there. And Earth Breeze is from right here in Oregon.

Which Brand did you buy from Amazon?

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing your recommendation, Maggie! 💞

Almost done with my last jug of detg. Can’t wait to try these. I purchased their deal of 12 pack for $119= $9.90 per pack. Also, EARTH breeze from right here in OR. No more plastic, such a no brainer!

Can these be used in any type of washer? Has anyone had issues using them in a front loading washer?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yes! Here is what I found listed on their site – “They work in all machines, HE included.” Hope that is helpful! 💞🤗

      • Ginger

Thank you for checking!! I love doing anything I can to help our struggling environment. 😊

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

          You’re SO welcome! ❤️❤️

Just fyi, laundry sheets and liquid pod packs all contain PVA/PVOH (polyvinyl alcohol) as an ingredient which is dissolvable PLASTIC (but not biodegradable!). That means you are just putting microplastics in our water systems every time you use these. This is greenwashing and not actually good for the environment. If you actually care about keeping plastic out of our environment stick with laundry powder in cardboard or tin. Here is a recent study that found that about 75% of PVA used does NOT degrade in wastewater treatment plants in the USA. https://www.mdpi.com/1660-4601/18/11/6027 Straight up dissolving plastic into our water seems worse than just buying a plastic jug.

    • Sourkisses

Wow! I had no idea, I bought a year supply a couple of months back! I am on well water, I will have to see how this affects that. I should have done more research! Thank you for sharing…

    • TS

This citation refers to an article about laundry pods not sheets.

      • Laurieaw1

It’s about “Degradation of Polyvinyl Alcohol in US Wastewater Treatment Plants and Subsequent Nationwide Emission Estimate” (which is the title of the article) and PVA is in both pods and sheets. Just look at the ingredient list and you’ll see it.

Just wanted to share a review. I have these and am not impressed. I used 2 full sheets for a large load of (lightly soiled) laundry. Nothing was overly dirty. One of the items was a shirt I had sprayed a bit of body mist on. After washing (and drying) I could still smell the perfume, this never happens with Tide. I have no doubt these are better for the environment, but I’ll need to try something else. I am using what I have left to wash whites with since I use bleach. These aren’t horrible, but I wouldn’t look for a deep clean, especially at that high price point. As a side-note, given increased costs, unless I can get Tide for a good deal (which I find lots of here) I’ve switched to the Arm & Hammer with the purple cap and am impressed—this is coming from a laundry soap snob 😂 Hope this helps somebody!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave your honest review on these. Good to know how they’ve worked for your clothing. We sure appreciate the feedback! 💖

  7. Fifster33

I agree with Tipaye, these did not work very well on our clothes/items for our family. 1st, You have to use 2 sheets for Large loads, so that cuts the quantity in half right off the bat, then we had some very stinky towels after cleaning something very dirty, they didn’t come out clean or fresh smelling, so I had to rewash it all with my Arm n Hammer. Of course I bought the 3 packs so now I use 1 sheet plus vinegar plus a lil A&H too but I will NOT be repurchasing these, I’ll stick with A&H.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh darn. Sorry to hear they didn’t work well for the stinky towels. ❤️Thanks for letting us know how you’ve been using them.

  8. mrsfick

FYI- these are made in China- was enough for us to stop using them in addition to the ingredients. We don’t give our dogs any treats from China- surely aren’t going to wash my clothes with a product from China.

  9. TS

Ecos brand of laundry detergent sheets are also available from Target. 64 sheets for $12.99. My daughter uses them in her dorm as they take up less space than regular detergent.

    • TS

Ecos claims to be plastic-free and made in the US.

  10. SH

I did not have any luck with these. In several loads, the sheets did not dissolve all the way and left white sticky residue on our clothes in small chunks. I ended up dissolving these in some hot water before adding to the wash, just to finish off what I had

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Darn! Thanks for sharing about your experience with these, SH. 💕
