The new Echo is well built and the esthetics are nicer than the old columnar ones. The sound is also greatly improved with very decent bass considering the size and price of the device.

I also found that the new Echo catches the keyword “Alexa” a lot better in noisy environments or when the music is playing loud. I appreciate that I do not need to yell to get the Echo device’s attention. All considered, I think that this is a great device

We’ve tied it to lights, plugs, tv and our devices and it is soo convenient. The sound is so much more than expected. We’ve personalized it and I can say I really like our new addition.

An absolute must-have in the kitchen!! Love having music, humor, answers to questions, shopping lists, etc. close at hand. We love this unit so much, we ordered a second unit for our craft room.
