Echo Spot – 3 colors
Just $44.99 shipped (regularly $79.99) for Prime Members!
Amazon’s new Echo Spot has all the features you love from previous Echo devices and some serious upgrades like a display with a touchscreen, smart clock, better sound quality, and the ability to create routines.
The Echo spot offers a richer, deeper, more vibrant sound for listening to music, podcasts and audiobooks. You can see song titles and control music on the touch display.
With the smart clock and Alexa, you can create daily routines like waking up to specific music and gradual light, see the time, check the weather, get reminders, and more. The clock face style and color can be customized too.
Plus, you can control all your smart home devices with Alexa and set up automatic routines for them on the Echo Spot.
Do you know if they have a trade-in deal for these? I love that these have the clock display!
Hey there MBarnes! π€ When clicking through the link in the post, I’m seeing a 20% offer on a trade-in, if you wanted to check that. Hoping your account might be eligible for extra savings too! π€π

I was thinking of how nice this would be to replace my Show-me-ads device (Echo Show) but it feels like Amazon is abandoning the platform when it comes to power users. I (along with many others) have been having issues with Echo Dots freezing up recently. They discontinued the todo-list backend API this month. They’re talking about charging for a second tier of “AI Alexa” in the near future, which may eventually supplant many of the free features that we currently enjoy. There’s too much unknown with these device at this time.
I would note that I am more technologically inclined than most Alexa users and currently looking at moving to a localized, non-cloud voice assistant, so that alternative makes Alexa less attractive. Although the DIY assistants do not look remotely as good as these Alexa devices do, so still pretty tempted to get one…
Sorry to hear about the freezing issues with your current Echo device, S. Hoping this one might work out better for you, if you decide to give it a try. π€ Thanks for taking a moment to share your honest feedback with us! π
