So far so good. I cleared some wall space and placed the dock. I let the vacuum charge and hit play and away it goes. Then I push the plug button when everything has been covered and I want it to go home. I haven’t yet tried setting up any other cleaning options. It got stuck on the deep bathroom rug but it navigated through the kitchen and around the dining table and chairs. There’s just a lot of bumping back and forth but hey, I’m not vacuuming and sweeping so that’s the idea. We have hard floors and a rug. I’ve been running it about once a day or every other to keep up with cat hair and litter that seems to track everywhere. In some places, the rug is under the couch so I put some cardboard under the feet to boost the height a bit so the vacuum could move under there without getting caught up. This is definitely my favorite and the best investment in a while. It also is entertaining to watch the cats freak out.
