Follow these steps to get a Free Year of Netflix Premium ($240 value):
- Head over here.
- Scroll down to view the different subscription options and choose one that you’d like to purchase; then click the “Get it Now” button under that offer. The cheapest offer is to buy the NFL+ Premium (Seasonal) & Netflix Special Offer priced at $24.99 for the season.
- Click Existing Customer if you are an existing Verizon Mobile and/or 5G Home customer and sign into your account (if you’re new to Verizon, click the New Customer button to shop Verizon plans to unlock your access). Note that you may have to repeat this step if you are taken back to the main offer page.
- Confirm your billing address.
- Select a payment method.
- Confirm the amount – will vary based on subscription selected but will be as little as $24.99 + tax.
- You will then be prompted to create accounts for NFL+ (if you choose this subscription) and Netflix
- Your 12-month promotional period of Netflix Premium begins on the date you activate the qualifying subscription service on the service provider’s website or app. To access your Netflix promotion, you must activate your Netflix subscription or move your existing Netflix subscription to the +play platform.

This is an excellent deal. The details (at least for Peloton) says current subscribers can take advantage of the deal after their subscription ends. Mine ends in one week and so I reached out to Verizon and asked when the promo ends and the agent didn’t know.

Wow! What a deal! This worked for me. I paid $24.99 for NFL+, created my account, then it prompted me to sign into my existing Netflix account and it went through! I checked my app and my teens checked theirs – all is good – same passwords and our previously watched and favorites remained! I got an email from Netflix that I had changed my payment method from what I previously used to Verizon. Thanks for posting!

Thank you for sharing! I’m with Verizon but took a break from Netflix as we were paying for too many subscriptions. The only downside to the NFL+ Premium is that you may only have access on a tablet or smartphone, not TV. Even so, what a great deal!
Did it take a while for nfl+ to activate your subscription? I made an account, then it took me to my profile, and when I tried to go back to verizon it was an error page. I logged back in and I’m stuck on pending, so I can’t sign up for Netflix yet. I don’t know if I did something wrong or what lol.
I signed up last night and it did the exact same thing to me. I checked it this morning and it is still pending activation.
Mine is pending and I just signed up now. Hopefully the 24 hours is all it needs to set up!
I’m having the same issue. Customer service indicated that it may be due to grandfathered accounts that are not on one of their unlimited plans. This new +play service is still in Beta and they are still working out some bugs.
It’s been a couple days now and I’m *still* stuck in the pending verification loop. I have a few lines, all mix and match unlimited plans, so there definitely shouldn’t be a problem with my plans not qualifying. I keep coming back to the comments hoping someone found a miracle fix lol because this is becoming a little ridiculous atp.
Two questions – will you still be able to watch Netflix on the tv? Which level of Netflix subscription is it?

I followed the instructions, logged into Netflix, and it now shows the premium status on my account and says that my subscription is managed through Verizon. Good.
Then, I logged into NFL on my tv, and I can see that I have access to the NFL+ features. Good.
Here’s the problem. I have NO IDEA how to cancel it. I have spent the last hour and a half searching through the Verizon app, the Verizon website, the NFL website, and the Netflix website.
This is either the best “gotcha” I have ever fallen for, or I’m totally missing something. Does anyone know how to cancel the NFL Premium???

The NFL+ seasonal expires 7/31/23. If I cancel then, will I still have the full year of Netflix until December 2024?

NFL+ Seasonal is good until 7/31/2023. Your seasonal subscription will end and you will have to renew or choose another plan if you wish to continue to have access to NFL+. Your Netflix will continue until you cancel and will automatically begin charging you at $19.99 per month THROUGH Verizon until you cancel that subscription.

I signed up over 24 hrs ago, and it still shows pending activation. And if I click manage, I get a message “You need to finish activation before using some of your services.” at the bottom, is there another step I need to do besides create an NFL+ account to so call activate??
I am having the same issue. I have access to the NFL plus and can use it. It tells me my account can be managed under my verizon account. When I do that, it states its still pending activation 🙁

I am having the same issue and 30+ minutes with customer service resulted in “just wait maybe it’s a glitch.” Seems totally par for Verizon lol

I talked with customer service about this issue. Grandfathered accounts that are not on one of their unlimited plans are not eligible which is the issue with my account. Prepaid plans and FIOS customers are also not eligible. So that is most likely why people’s activations are stuck in a Pending status.

I am not a grandfathered account and its not working for me. Im still on my initial 2 year plan that I just started with them. Verizon was not helpful at all, NFL tried to get me to sign up for another deal.

Nope, the nfl part of the deal is working fine, I just have not been charge apparently from Verizon. Verizon keeps telling me to contact nfl to activate (it’s working fine) and nfl sends me to Verizon. Soo….free nfl plus for a little…can’t complain! Lol.

This is a disaster. Verizon keeps referring me to get help from NFL or Netflix for not having access to my account management on my verizon account. I cant cancel or manage it because I dont have access, althought I can use the NFL+ account with no problem. If you find a way to get it to work, let me know!
Its a good deal, but Verizon is telling me there is no charge on my account, so Im going to just let it go..lol

I’m having the same issue. I created my nfl account but don’t have access to nfl+ premium. When I go to my Verizon account and click activate, it takes me back to the subscription page and shows “pending activation”.
Verizon told me to wait until the charge falls from my account (it hasnt been charged) and if I do get charged and still no access, to contact them! I hope they can get it to work because its a great deal!

I chose the subscription I want but Verizon, after verification, takes me to my account. No offer there.
It has to do with the type of Verizon account you have. Grandfathered accounts, prepaid accounts and FIOS accounts are not eligible, so we are stuck in this pending status and unable to to Activate.
I signed up and can watch anything on NFL+ but no charge to my account and its still saying pending activation. My NFL+ account tells me to manage my subscription via my Verizon account, but my Verizon account tells me its pending. No charge to my account and Im still getting the NFL+. I really did it for the Netflix and that is where things don’t work as I can’t activate the netflix until the NFL+ is no longer pending.
Mine finally worked. Changed my payment method last night as one agent suggested and this morning it was finally active so I was able to activate Netflix as well. The charge also showed up on new CC today.
For the NFL, how do I activate it if it wants a tv provider? All I have is Netflix and a peacock on a Roku smart tv. NFL already took the money out of my checking account, and I am in pending status probably because I don’t know how to activate it since I don’t have a tv provider. Can anyone help me, this is a nightmare!!
