This is a great ice maker that is perfect for dorms, camping, or even in your own kitchen. It made the ice so quickly and did not make a lot of noise. We had one of these countertop ice machines at work and I loved it! We didn’t have an ice machine at home and we were always buying ice, so I decided this would help us save money. We have had this for a couple of weeks now and it’s working great. It was very easy to set up and once we took it out of the box and filled it up with water, it started working immediately. It makes ice very fast… I want to say in about 6 min.
It’s not very loud, the only time we hear it is when it dumps the ice. I like the little scoop that comes with it, but I don’t really use it. The size of the cubes is nice, you can choose between two sizes, I prefer the large. This is a great addition to a home, especially if you use a lot of ice and don’t want to have to constantly be buying ice. Saves a lot of money!
